Our Students definitions for a refugee...

• Who is a refugee?  

A person that is forced to leave his country / natural neighborhood because of dangerous and is not allowed to build his life in a new place.

A person who needs to hide because of life danger upon himself and his family.

A person without an address.

• What are the problems that a refugee confront?

Learning a new language,  

Finding education for his kids,

Loneliness,

Far away from his family,

An unpredictable future,

No money, no food, no closes, no health security,

No house, no roof,

Danger (many refugees that come from Sudan are killed in the Egypt border)

Fear,

                          

Illegal state of citizenship,

No id card, no passport,

Being minority,

No civil rights,

Cześć! Mam na imię Klaudia i mam 16 lat. Mam świra na punkcie psów. Uwielbiam psie sporty. Dogfrisbee, agility, dogdancing to coś, co kocham. Kiedyś chciałabym mieć dwa albo trzy pupile. Teraz mam w domu jednego psa- sportowca. Lava to border collie. Spędzam z nią bardzo dużo swojego wolnego czasu. Oczywiście mam też czas dla swoich przyjaciół. Lubię też czytać i podróżować. Kocham robić zdjęcia. Dopiero się uczę, ale mam nadzieje, ze kiedyś będą „dobre”.

Chciałabym wziąć udział w tym projekcie, ponieważ chciałabym poznać nowych ludzi, ich kulturę oraz zwyczaje.

Hi! My name is Klaudia and I Am 16 years old. I am very crazy about dogs. I love dogs, and dog sports. Dogfrisbee, agility, dog dancing- they are things which I love. In the future I will have two or three dogs. Now I have one dog – sport dog. Lava is Border collie. I love her very much and spend with her a lot of my free time. I have time for my friends too. I like reading, traveling and make the fotos. I’m already learning this, but I hope that my fotos will be “good” one day.

I want be in this project, because I want meet a new friends, get know their culture and customs.

Hallo! Ich heiBe Klaudia und ich bin 16 Jahre alt. Ich liebe Hunde. Dog Frisbee, agility, dog dancing – das sind meine Hobby. Ich mochte drei oder zwei Hunde haben. Jetzt habe ich eine Hündin. Lava ist Border Collie. Ich liebe ihr und ich liebe spielen mit ihr. Ich mag meine Freunde treffen auch. Ich mag lesen, reisen und Fotos machen. Erst lerne ich, aber ich denke dass meine Fotos “gut” werden.

Ich mochte in dieser Projekte sein weil ich mochte neue Freunde treffen mochte, lernen andere Kultur and Gebrauchen.

Chciałabym wziąć udział w projekcie Building Bridges, ponieważ daje mi on możliwość poznania nowych ludzi, nauki języka angielskiego w życiu codziennym oraz poznania innych kultur. Moim największym zainteresowaniem jest fotografia. Swoje umiejętności kształtuję w kółku fotograficznym w SMOK. W wolnym czasie lubię również rysować, podróżować

Ich möchte an diesem Projekt teilnehmen, weil ich andere Leute kennen lernen möchte.
Ich möchte auch meine Fremdsprachen verbessern. Ich habe viele Hobbys. Ich bin im Foto-AG, im Kunst-AG, wo wir malen, basteln. Ich fotografiere sehr gern, vor allem: Menschen, Tieren, Natur. Ich schwimme gern und reisen.

I really like to meet new people and find new friends. I think this is good way to learn languages. I love traveling. I have many hobby's, I'm painting, making a pictures and I like make something from nothing. I love make pictures of people, animals, nature, also I like swim. I think this project well be good experience for me.

How many brothers and sisters do you have? I have a sister.

What are your parent‘s names? Where do they come from? My mother‘s name ist Gudrun and my father is called Stefan. Both of them were born in Germany.

Is your family traditional / religious / secular? please explain  We are not religious. I would rather call us agnostic. The only religious things that touch our life are the traditional holidays you can not avoid celebrating in Germany (Christmas, Eastern etc.).

What subjects do you learn at school? Right now, I am doing an exam called „Abitur“ that will allow me to visit any university. This „Abitur“ requires that I have the following subjects: Mathematics, German, French, English, Physics, Chemistry, History, Theatre and Sports.

What topic do you like most? That is not easily answered. But I can tell that I like Chemistry and Sports the less.

What kind of relations are between students and teachers in your school? I personally do not have any problems with my teachers in school. But I have to admit that you have to have a certain age before they will respect you. At least that was my impression.

What are your hobbies?  I am doing Karate and I love music.

Describe your social life:  The biggest part of my social life happens in school where I meet friends and teachers. Usually I am not at home on weekends. I like to meet friends than, make music or have a drink. Or I do all this on the same time.
